I so much want it to be supporteed by WD TV HD, but at the moment it is not supported in the Firmware.

I would very much like an extended posibility to install the USB Wireless Adadpter I want (or any other device), rather than hopeing/waiting for WD to put the support in a firmware.
Alternative should WD let their customers decide which devices that should be supported. A pull on ther website?

Currently there is no persian subtitle srt support. In order to view persian subtitles we need to convert them to IDX/SUB files.
It would really help if WD could add persian support for srt subtitles.

My cd's are organized by genre, artist , and album, each as a folder, I'd love to highlight multiple albums inside their respective folders on the fly for sequential play. They are wav or flac for highest fidelity, I don't want to remove drives and create play lists in compressed formats for this. I am pleased to see the audio clipping is being addressed, my speakers thank you! This would help WDTV to reach its potential as a music jukebox.

If you have a subtitle that's out of sync you should have the option of delayng/speeding the sub like BSPlayer does

As in thumbnail support, perhaps we could have the synopsis and rating in a file? For example:

the .imdb file could be a text file with info like:

I have a camera that takes videos in this codec/format and I can't play them on my WDTV. I have many hours of video recorded that I'd like to watch on my TV. And for some reason I have trouble converting this codec to any other "more standardized" codec.

Many cameras use this codec...Nikon, Canon,...

please support us these srt subtitle encoding.

Just record them into the database at the actual disk! Then you can even resume your movie on another WDTV unit!

The CEC allows HDMI devices to control each other when necessary, and allows the user to operate multiple devices with one remote control handset.

It would be nice to skip or navigate through chapters in an MKV (and any other container that allows chapters) by using then Prev - Next buttons or the < - > arrow buttons.

It is a little cumbersome hitting options, selecting chapters and then going to the chapter menu and then looking for the chapter i want.

Would be nice to be able to resync audio in say +/-50ms steps. On the PC I use the AC3 filter to do this for me.

With 1.02.08 Powered USB HUB support seems to have gone away. Although it was never "officially" supported, they functioned with previous FW versions.

Such an awesome device should not be limited to only 2 drives.
