I have a lot off blu ray films and these films have a lot of audio tracks and some films have one to three video tracks.

So WD TV have an option to select from menu audio tracks in language that is more native to me, but it doesn't have option to select video tracks.

For examle one of my favorite films The Chronicles of Riddick have 3 video tracks - on PC i can choose tracks in player, but WD TV doent have this option - it would be great to make this option:

Playlists residing in the same folder as the music files, or placed in the directory above the music files will play as expected. Playlists trying to access files listed in a path of 2 directories or more, fails. It shouldn't matter how many sub-directories a file is located in, as long as the relative path from the playlist to the file is accurate. Somehow this fundamental aspect of playlists is too much for WD to comprehend, as they designed it to only play files found 1 directory down. I take their "design" for "complete lack of knowledge for the technology they're pushing".

2) Reprocessing of photo on zoom: currently WDTV processes the photos only once when loading to fit on the screen, and then when you zoom in, it zooms into the "scaled-down-&-extremely-sharpened" picture instead of the original file, generating a blurred, upscaled-back output whereas the original file has enough data to fill the screen. Nowadays even many cell phones come with 2.0MP + cameras. Full HD resolution is 2 MP only. So most of the time, when you are viewing a picture/photo, it is scaled down to fit your tv screen (even if it is 1080p) and you don't see the full detail. When you zoom in, you should be getting less downscaling hence moving closer to the original resolution of the picture until you reach 100%. Only past that point upscaling should start, there is no point in zooming in if you are not going to see more detail.

3) Zoom buttons: Using two of the remote buttons for instant zoom in/out instead of going through the menus would be a life saver. I suggest FF for zoom-in and REV for zoom-out

4) Pan buttons: Entering the pan mode instantly once the zoom is active and using the cursor keys for panning would also be perfect (no more menus please).

5) Zoom map: This might be overkill but a little navigation map on zoom would make this complete (a little presentation at the corner marking which part of the picture is actually being viewed)

Make the Auto Play (automatic playback of media at power-on) feature available for existing WD TV HD Media Player owners. This is a feature that is available in the new WD TV Mini Media Player. Auto Play should be made available for early adopters who purchased the WD TV HD Media Player to use in digital signage applications.

Example: I work in a movie theater where the WD TV HD Media Player is used for playback of video advertisements. Pressing "Up, Up, Enter, Play, Enter" every day on a remote control is very tiresome. There is no desire to buy the cheaper WD TV Mini Media Player models to replace what is already there just to get Auto Play features.
