  Please add option to change colour of subtitles. I really dont like white subtitles, almost 7 years i use yellow and now i buy wd player and this is only one big problem to me.

  Make option for "Bold" or Better: Use embemded fonts ( just dump/create a "temp" file on the attached USB Drive or USB MemStick).

  yes ,there is now big subtitlesize but we want position
  - color of font
  - outline color

  - more outline thickness options (thin,bold + medium + superbold)

  I have sent that issue several times and I haven't satisfied with the answers and at last took photos and sent them..I have received two responses from wd support, this time it seems ok..I am sure they will do their best at the next firmware or product..the most important improvement will be full hd audio(7.1) support via hdmi...new wd s send Dolby digital true hd to avrs but cannot send dts master audio..

  For me, the most important improvement would be this.

  Please, at least an option to change the color of the subtitles (white or yellow). Sad :(

  Either fully support SSA's, or create a way to color and shadow the fonts.

  * subtitles position: put them higher on the screen, like 1 line higher or even better allow to choose the position
  * subtitles tags: integrate or ignore them...

  I vote for this too, subtitles are very hard to read (specially if your getting older like me)
