I suggest you ...

to easily switch list/thumbnail view when navigating folders

It should be possible to easily (at the press of a button) switch between LIST VIEW and THUMBNAIL VIEW, while navigating folders. Without going to the Settings. Because some folders look better with thumbs, and others (esp when no thumbs available) look better in list.

And it would also be good if the WDTV saved the setting (either List or Thumbnail View) for each folder, in the same way that Windows does.

at least if we can change the view while navigating , like pressing menu button and change the view

Yes, and a mode for showing ALL files, formats and not only the selected ones (movies, music, pictures). A straight explorer-like view on per dir/file basis.
And please make navigation and remote-control reaction time faster ... IMHO navigation in forlder/file-structures is too slow.

Absolutely! Actually, it also makes sense to have all folders with no thumbs in them to default to List View.
