And bitrate of course for all tracks and especially for audio track. It will be very cool to check for ex. what bitrate has DTS track - 768kbps or 1536!!!

I think is not "just" more info inside the file. But also a movie review or so. You could have a place to show any file information as is done currently with srt files. I mean. If you have an file named "any_movie.mkv" and also an "any_movie.txt" or "any_movie.info" you could have a way to show a description of file.

Why not can WDTV have this: http://fusedfilm.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/aeon-1.jpg
        ??

I can see this being useful when you have a movie that won't play, where you can then look at the file info and then see why it won't play (unsupported audio or video codec, etc). Maybe even a useful error message saying "unsupported video format. Please refer to the CD that came with your WDTV for how to convert this file to a recognizable format."

Information about fps is very important for setting a correct refresh rate for the maximal smoothness of playback.
For example if you setup 720p60 for PAL content you receive very choppy playback.
Or if you setup 720p50 for NTSC content you receive very choppy playback.
