I prefer to have my TV handle scaling and content presentation. When set to 'widescreen', the WD TV adds black side bars 4:3 content. I can work around that by using the 'normal' setting but doing so can have an adverse effect on widescreen content.

I know this means I will see slightly stretched 4:3 content but I prefer it that way and would like to have control over this aspect.
