I found this easier to use than a ff/rew option where you watch a speedup of the video. Most software (VLC, GBPVR) already have a skip feature (Usually 10 sec.)

It's useful for playing music videos without pauses. I have hundreds of music videoclips and it's most annoying to have to select one video after another.

So making a video playlist would be perfect as we could just pick the one we wanted and the WDTV would play those videoclips without stopping.

And it should have also the ability to play them randomly , with repeat functions.

I cannot view my DV camcorder movies :(

In "1080p 24Hz" display resolution mode, 23.976 fps video files (e.g. .M2TS) suffer a short stuttering/juddering in an exactly 40-seconds cycle.

DVD Isos with chapters shorter than 30 mins (< 1GB) are not playable... Why?

When i power on my Hifi-Hardware WDTV automatically starts. I want it to go into standby like any other hardware (TV,AV-Receiver,Sat-Receiver...).

I'd like to see a simple shot-down timer implemented.

Just something like 15,30,45,60,90,120min would be cool.

It could be placed under the menu that you get while playing video (where you have subtitles, zoom,etc)

It should be possible to easily (at the press of a button) switch between LIST VIEW and THUMBNAIL VIEW, while navigating folders. Without going to the Settings. Because some folders look better with thumbs, and others (esp when no thumbs available) look better in list.

Would be nice to change skins so the looks of your browser can be changed just like eg winamp.

Play (send) audio file without reclocking nor up/downsampling. So for example, 44.1KHz/16 bit files comes out as 44/1KHz/16bit through the Toslink interface.
